How we live
WE LIVE IN COMMUNITIES, ENCOURAGED BY FAITH, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH MARY, TO EXTEND HER MISSION TO GIVE CHRIST TO THE WORLD.
“The first mission of the community is to create the vital environment that allows us to experience God and communicate it.” (RL I.42)
“It is the Lord who brings us together to live the same vocation. In the midst of a world divided by hatred and sin, our community reveals that it is Christ who realizes our communion and helps us to live with joy and love. Our fraternal life, a sign of his presence, thus prepares the coming of a new world. ” (RL I. 40)
LIFE OF PRAYER
“Prayer, the heart of our religious life, personal, communitarian and apostolic, allows us to penetrate the intimacy of Jesus Christ and welcome his love for the Father and for humanity. It enlivens us for the mission.
In a world eager for effectiveness, this free prayer is the sign of the Absolute of God in our lives.” (RL I. 52)
LIFE IN MISSION
“By the will of our founders, we are essentially missionaries.” (RL I. 64)
“Our alliance with Mary makes us participate in her mission as Mother of the Church. We want to live like Her, with faith and availability; We want to make her known and loved, because, if Jesus Christ wanted to come to us through Her, humanity will also find Him through her. “(RL I. 65)
IN ON-GOING FORMATION
“The Congregation takes special care in the formation of its members.
This formation is mainly aimed at leading the person to respond from faith, to find her oneness in Jesus Christ and to live according to the spirit of the Congregation.
It must therefore be conceived as an itinerary of progressive, dynamic and unified growth, and allow a harmonious development of spiritual, intellectual, affective and physical faculties.
A service that can be adapted to the mission requires on-going formation that takes into account evolution and change. It is a matter of living in a state of conversion in order to meet the ever new demands of the mission. ” (RL I. 75)
