Our mission

We live our mission in alliance with Mary, embracing her invitation: “Do whatever He tells you” (Jn 2:5). With her, we collaborate in the saving work of her Son. We seek to make Him known, loved, and served. We believe that, just as Jesus came to us through Mary, many others can also encounter Him through her. To this end, we embrace all forms of apostolate that help awaken faith, strengthen it, and form people and communities committed to the Gospel, with special attention to youth, the poor, and women.

At the Service of Life

Education holds a special place in our mission, due to its power to transform both the individual and society. We promote holistic development and personal guidance, aimed at building a more just and fraternal society according to the values of the Gospel.

Since 1836, Fr. Chaminade also promoted our apostolic work in the healthcare and social fields, accompanying, caring for, and restoring hope.

Mary, the Mother who cared for Jesus, now cares with maternal affection and pain for this wounded world… we can ask her to enable us to look at this world with eyes of wisdom (Laudato Si’ #241)

Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation

JPIC is conscious prayer and action to transform the world according to the spirit of the Gospel, through lives committed to justice, peace, and the care of the integrity of creation.

We are called to be contemplative in action: women who listen deeply —to God, to the Earth, and to the most vulnerable— and who respond with courage and hope.

We embrace Integral Ecology as an essential part of our mission: listening to the cry of the Earth and the cry of the poor, and responding with concrete actions that promote a more just and fraternal life.

Like Mary, woman of “yes” and of care, we seek to see the world with wise and compassionate eyes. Our commitment flows from the Gospel and is expressed in a simple, supportive, and sustainable way of life.
